You've heard him even if you haven’t heard of him, Jonny 8 Track is the stage name of renowned UK musician Jonny Aitken. Jonny’s album, 8 Hours Work, 8 Hours Sleep, 8 Hours For What We Will, gets a proper release in 2016.
With his record 8 Hours Work, 8 Hours Sleep, 8 Hours For What We Will, Jonny’s album takes a David Graeber-esque vision of working person’s world and carves out a narrative of beauty and triumph within each song.
Jonny can currently be seen and heard behind the drum kit with Spiritualized, as they gear up to tour in support of their new album. Jonny was also a member of indie band Nic Armstrong and The Thieves and has done session work with David Viner, Fabienne Del Sol, and Pete Molinari, among others.
