Born and raised south of New Orleans, LA and beginning a top session and touring career in Los Angeles, CA, Ian Falgout’s background has been a virtual "gumbo" of influences. Ian has appeared on MTV, VH1, ABC, KTLA and worked with major labels such as Warner Bros., EMI, RCA, Reprise, Lakeshore, City Canyons, Chrome Child and Immure Records. He has been featured numerous times in Modern Drummer and Drum! Magazines, and has toured nationally, as well as internationally. Ian has performed live and/or worked in the studio with members of/former members of and the bands Windsor, Steppenwolf, Toto, The Beach Boys, REO Speedwagon, The Neville Brothers, The Meters, Point Blank, Pure Prarie League, Ugly Kid Joe, Nelson, Three Dog Night, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Weather Report, Talking Heads, Patti Labelle, The Firm, Dire Straits, Nikki Boyer and many others. He has produced actress Nikki Boyer's solo band, Mid-West U.S.A. favorites The Resonance, recording artist Miss Marcy and her Texas Sugardaddy's latest release on CSP Records and Frequency (currently Leaving The Universe). Ian is also a BMI published songwriter signed exclusively to DollarStore Monkey Publishing and co-lead singer/songwriter/guitarist in his own band, Kit Shicker, with national touring artist Jenny Slyder. Ian has worked with Buzzy Gruen (Chuck Rainey, Point Blank) in Gruen Falgout.
