The Tennessee Werewolves (TW) drummer Christian Wolf began his drum training at two years of age. Drawing inspiration from 80's rock and outlaw country, Wolf started writing and recording original material by age 12 under the guidance of veteran musician Dick Gay (drummer, Clint Black). In 2011, he joined forces with sister Angel Mary Wolf and father Antoine Wolf to form The Tennessee Werewolves.Country's Rocking family trio, they're no-doubt giving a rebel yell to country music. The Nashville, TN natives have spent years perfecting their sound in a household where music was a prevalent part of everyday life. Despite each member bringing their own individual talents to the group (Angel Mary on lead vocals and guitar, Christian on vocals and drums and Antoine on vocals and bass guitar), the collective results in a sound offering up old fashioned Dixie roots,Haggard-styled lyrics with a Outlaw attitude - pass the whiskey!
"Cowboy", the group's first single, was released in October 2012 with the accompanying music video making it into Heartlands coveted Top 10 video spot three weeks in a row. 2013 marking the 10 year anniversary of Johnny Cash's passing, The Tennessee Werewolves went back into the studio with Rob Caggiano (guitarist, Volbeat) to record the remake of "Folsom Prison Blues". The track was produced by the Man in Black's son John Carter Cash and recorded at Cash Cabin Studio. This release landed TW in the July 27th print issue of Billboard Magazine, coining TW "The Next Wave of Country Rock". The video for the single has been featured on multiple networks worldwide. In 2015 The Tennessee Werewolves released "Ramblin" to country radio. "Ramblin" was recorded at the Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis, TN. The track featured Kenny Olson (guitarist, Kid Rock) and was cut on 2" inch analog tape giving it that original warm Sun Records sound. The song quickly scored TW a top 10 hit on New Music Weekly and #2 on the Indie World Country Chart. By December "Ramblin" achieved #1 status on Renegade Radio Nashville Chart. Continuing to tour TW reached new heights in 2016 opening for Florida Georgia Line, The Cadillac Three, and Cole Swindell. CMA Close Up magazine declared TW "Artist to Watch For". The Tennessee Werewolves are currently in the studio writing their anticipated first full album.
